May 22nd Loch Ore Demo Day

Loch Ore Demo Day is heading our way again. We have the site booked for Sunday May 22nd. Get it booked in your diary. A one day event this year but still packed full of boats as always.

We are planning to have wide range of Open Canoes, Sit On Tops, and Sea Kayaks.

Well we have done well to get back together again after a busy week. Great to see people today picking up their orders and getting out on the water.
We are still going to run a few show deals until stock is gone.

Show season is not over yet. We are attending the Tyne Tour Next weekend. If you want anything or orders taken to the event please contact the Team in Stockport as they will be packing the van next Thursday.

SCA Paddle 2010

Paddle 2010 is not far away now. The main event is at Bells Sport Centre where as always we will have a stand but don't forget the shop will be open all weekend as well. We will be having a bit of Yard Sale at the shop. Selling off lots of second hand and ex demos all weekend. Please don't ring us just yet as we don't know what we will be selling just yet but we will be putting a list up as best we can before the event.

Snow

We still have lots of snow but we are still here. John had to climb to work this morning. All the mojor routes to us are currently open but please drive with care to come and see us.

London and Vans

So Brookbank London is getting set for their opening weekend. They open officially this Saturday. Check out their progress here. The store is 9000 sqft. If you are in London area why not pop along and see the new store.

Cam will be going down next week to check it out.

A bit late I know but we got a new van recently that has been kept really busy delivering to all our stores. If you see it on the road gives us a wave.

2009 Catalogue

I've been down at our head office this week and I've had a sneak look at the new catalogue. It looks great with all the new kit in for 2009. It is away at the printers just now and we should see the finished copies next week. We'll have them in store in Perth ASAP. If you have ordered one online we will be sending yours out next week.

We are having a stand at the Birmingham NEC next weekend so you will be able to pick up a copy from there too.

Canoexpo 2008

Canoexpo was a great success for us and thank you to everyone who came to see us. It was a new concept and I think it worked very well. We had 55,000square feet to fill. The hall looked great with all the exhibitors set up.

Pyranha Stand were showing the new Rev Med Long. as well as the Everest and their new colours.

Opening Hours During Canoexpo

We are getting excited about Canoexpo. There is alot of work to do to make sure we get all the product in on time and the exhibitors are kept up to date with what is going on. For the latest news click here.
With Canoexpo coming up I should let you all that Brookbank Scotland will be changing our opening hours during the event. The reason being that all Brookbank Staff will be needed for this sizable event.

Our Mission with Canoexpo is to host a showcase event which celebrates canoeing and kayaking to the enthusiast, newcomer and occasional paddler on a level not seen before in the UK.

Our mission is to create an event that captures and enhances the enthusiasm that exists for canoeing and kayaking in the UK and inspires the newcomer.

Hopefully this will not be too much of an issue for you. If you miss us that much you can always come and see us at the show. Tickets are on sale now.
The plus point with all of this is that the show is the date for all our pre season orders to arrive. So after the show we will have all the new products in nice and early for Spring Summer.
