Big Water

Well the Tummel season has started with a bang!!! The water levels are huge. With the big realeses and the rain we have had the river is very high.

We have heard of a few boats going a miss as well. One Kingpin got pinned on the narrows on Thursday night.
We have heard this morning that 2 boats from Perth Canoe Club got lost on the Braan yesterday. We got this email from them today.

Hi Guys,

Unfortunately on a trip to the Braan on Sunday morning (24th), members of Perth Canoe Club lost 2 boats. Careless, we know!!

Pyranha H2, yellow & black (yes - the one Cam has just repaired!). This boat was seen by a member of the public going over hermitage falls, so has been through Rumbling Bridge as well .

The second boat is a Pyranha InaZone 230, grey with faint blue streaks. The boat had a purple and yellow throwline with a blue krab attached, in the cockpit. This boat was lost sight of in the Upper Braan Gorge at Corbenic College and no sign can be found of it lower down, so may also be on its way or already in the Tay.

We would be very grateful if you could contact us should anyone come into the shop with information on these boats. 01738 638548 or web@perthcanoeclub.com

Cheers.
John.

Be safe out there.
